  • Analytical and experimental investigation of reinforced concrete structures; shear panels, torsional members, and constitutive modeling of reinforced and prestressed concrete as well as analysis and design of these structures
  • Structural performance and durability of building envelopes under severe windstorms and earthquakes, including experimental structural investigation of glass curtain wall systems used in low- and high-rise buildings
  • Performance evaluation of fiber-reinforced-polymer composite for use in concrete as internal reinforcement or for external repair and strengthening of civil infrastructures
  • Health monitoring of civil engineering structures and the use of smart sensors
